A storage-first EPC company for critical industry
Terragreen designs, builds, and services integrated solar and storage systems for commercial, industrial, and critical-power customers. We are an energy infrastructure and project implementation business built on a straightforward proposition: engineering power systems around each site's actual load, backup requirements, and operating environment—so energy costs less and stays on.
Energy that stays on.
The energy transition will not be completed by solar panels alone
Across India and global growth markets, clean energy is deploying at historic speed. Yet as renewable penetration rises, a fundamental electrical reality emerges: generation follows the sun, but human and industrial demand follows operations.
- Volatile & intermittent
- Peaks at midday (low tariffs)
- Drops when the grid fails
- Requires diesel spinning backup
- Dispatchable & stable
- Dispatches into evening peaks
- Rides through outages in <20 ms
- Systematically displaces diesel
Adding gigawatts of variable solar without storage creates transmission grid instability, forces utilities to curtail clean power, and leaves industrial facilities exposed to outages and heavy demand charges.
Real decarbonization cannot happen on intermittent energy. Storage is the physical bridge that turns volatile daylight generation into dependable, round-the-clock capacity. That is why Terragreen does not treat batteries as an optional add-on to a solar contract. We start with the storage requirement, then design the solar and grid interface around it.

Engineering solutions for sites that cannot fail
Our passion to make a difference is not expressed through marketing slogans or generic pledges. We measure our impact through concrete engineering outcomes on the ground: eliminating expensive diesel fuel logistics, keeping critical community and telecom networks live, and lowering the levelised cost of energy (LCOE) for Indian manufacturing.
We align our daily project delivery with three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
Affordable and Clean Energy
Engineering solar and storage to deliver a lower cost per unit than grid retail tariffs, replacing polluting diesel generators with zero-emission local storage.
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Building resilient electrical infrastructure for data centres, telecom towers, and industrial plants that withstands voltage sag, single phasing, and outages.
Climate Action
Enabling genuine industrial decarbonization by ensuring 100% of generated solar energy is utilized on-site rather than curtailed or wasted during off-peak hours.
How we engineer: from load profile to integrated system
Conventional energy contractors begin with how many panels can fit on a roof, resulting in oversized daytime generation and undersized backup during critical moments. Terragreen reverses this process through storage-first engineering:
The principles that govern how we design, speak, and deliver
Terragreen operates under five foundational values approved by our leadership team:
Precision
We state tolerances, standards, and assumptions upfront, and we show our working. Every number in our proposals carries a unit, a basis, and a verified source.
Dependability
We do what was signed, on the schedule we agreed, and we stay accountable after commissioning. We make firm commitments only where engineering and contracts support them.
Practicality
We choose what works reliably in harsh field environments over what is merely novel on a spec sheet.
Transparency
We say clearly what is delivered, what is capability, and what is ambition. We openly disclose all group and corporate relationships.
Ownership
One team owns the integrated solution. We do not pass blame between solar panel makers, battery vendors, and balance-of-plant installers.
Every major promise has an auditable proof point
In an industry crowded with unverified claims, Terragreen publishes the evidence behind every engineering commitment:
| Commitment | What we do | How we prove it to you |
|---|---|---|
| Low cost of energy through implementation | Engineer direct tariff savings and demand-charge reductions into the design. | Itemized financial cost model with stated baseline tariffs and assumptions, verified against 12 months of bills. |
| Engineering precision | Document the complete design basis, electrical architecture, and safety standards. | Single-line diagrams (SLD), protection coordination studies, and signed acceptance test records. |
| Critical-function expertise | Apply an engineering method built for sites that cannot tolerate power loss. | Documented deployment procedures, simulated load responses, or structured pilot trials on nominated client sites. |
| Service commitment | Stay accountable through testing, commissioning, and long-term O&M. | Written warranty terms, defined response times in service agreements, and regional spares availability. |
| Innovation and technology focus | Adopt advanced chemistry and controls once proven under field conditions. | Proven LFP prismatic cells, independent hardware BMS protection, and sovereign telemetry integration. |
Terrakraft India, Terragreen, and Zyntra: sister brands with distinct roles
To ensure complete clarity for clients, investors, and procurement committees, our corporate relationships are governed by transparent brand architecture:
Terragreen is part of Terrakraft India. Terrakraft India also owns Zyntra, an energy storage products and systems brand with its own identity. Terragreen selects equipment on technical and commercial merit and states any group relationship in each proposal.
- Why this benefits our clients: In hybrid projects, Terragreen can specify Zyntra storage built to customer requirements—customizing cell configurations, enclosures, and inverters rather than supplying rigid off-the-shelf imports.
- Independent Evaluation: Terragreen's credibility does not depend on a group product. No project is forced to use Zyntra. Where alternative Tier-1 components offer a superior technical or commercial fit, they are evaluated, documented, and presented to the client.
