Mission-critical power infrastructure

Solar and storage for critical industry

For facilities where a power interruption halts communication networks or corrupts data streams, energy is not merely a cost line—it is operational continuity. Terragreen engineers solar generation and battery storage directly into existing critical power paths. We design around your site's uptime requirement, switchgear interfaces, and protection thresholds under one accountable team.

The core principle

Why continuity comes first

In standard commercial facilities, solar is designed to maximize unit savings. In critical infrastructure, generation must never introduce instability to the primary power bus.

We apply three engineering rules to every critical site:

1

Fit the existing power path

Solar and battery assets are engineered to interface cleanly with your existing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) trains, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and diesel generator governors.

2

Hardware-enforced isolation

Battery protection and automatic islanding operate at the physical hardware layer in sub-20 millisecond windows, independent of external software or cloud networks.

3

Phased scope commitment

We do not quote standard equipment packages. We validate architecture through simulation, technical workshops, or pilot sites before proposing full deployment.

Engineering discipline

A phased delivery framework for zero-risk integration

To protect operating facilities from installation risk, our critical-power delivery follows four defined milestones:

Four defined milestones
1. Interface Review Audit existing busbars, fault levels, and protection. 2. Single-Line Model Simulate transient response, harmonics, and trip curves. 3. Pilot / Workshop Validate hardware performance on site or in session. 4. Phased Execution Install, test, and commission under scheduled windows.
Questions

Frequently asked questions about critical-power solutions

Does adding solar and storage risk our facility's existing uptime guarantees?

No. We design auxiliary renewable systems with independent isolation breakers and interlocking controls. If a fault develops on the renewable train, the system isolates automatically in sub-cycle time, leaving your primary utility and backup generator feeds unaffected.

How does Terragreen coordinate warranties across multiple power components?

Terragreen acts as the single accountable EPC contractor, delivering an integrated system warranty that covers the interface and controls. Component warranties are backed by manufacturers, with configurable LFP battery systems supported locally by our sister brand Zyntra.
