Solar EPC for industry, utilities and rooftops
Terragreen designs, procures, builds and commissions solar power plants for commercial, industrial and utility generation. We apply one engineering standard across every format, from a 500 kW factory rooftop to a 50 MW grid-connected plant, with electrical interfaces and storage options planned from day one.
A Terrakraft India company. Standalone and hybrid systems engineered to documented baselines. Storage options delivered with Zyntra on technical merit.

Solar designed with storage compatibility in mind
Solar generation follows solar irradiance. Your facility's operating load follows production schedules, machine startups, and contracted delivery deadlines.
When a standard solar plant generates power, any grid drop or sudden cloud cover can drop your bus voltage or trip sensitive drives. If you plan to add battery storage now or in three years, the electrical architecture must account for it today.
If your plant experiences grid instability, peak-demand surcharges, or evening loads, review our hybrid solar and storage systems or standalone battery storage (BESS).
DC and AC coupling provisions
Inverter configurations selected to accommodate battery storage without rewiring existing arrays.
Switchgear and bus planning
Adequate breaker space, rated busbars, and protection relays designed to integrate bi-directional power flows.
Energy management integration
Monitoring systems that track generation against plant load profiles in 15-minute intervals.
What Terragreen delivers under a solar EPC contract
We do not use the term “turnkey” unless the contract covers the full delivery chain. Every proposal clearly delineates our responsibilities, your site responsibilities, and third-party scopes.
| Project stage | Responsibility | Detailed scope delivered |
|---|---|---|
| Engineering & Design | Included | Topographical/roof survey, generation modeling (PVSyst), single-line diagrams, civil foundation engineering, and protection design. |
| Procurement | Included | Tier-1 solar modules, string/central inverters, module mounting structures (MMS), HT/LT switchgear, cabling, and transformers. Equipment schedule lists every manufacturer. |
| Civil & Electrical Construction | Included | Foundation piling/ballasting, module assembly, DC/AC cabling, earthing pits, lightning protection, and control room construction. |
| Interconnection & Liaison | Included | CEIG approvals, discom grid synchronization, net-metering/open-access documentation, and bay construction up to the point of common coupling. |
| Testing & Commissioning | Included | Pre-commissioning cold/hot testing, insulation resistance, string VOC/ISC checks, inverter calibration, and formal performance ratio (PR) testing against stated criteria. |
| Controls & EMS | Included | SCADA, weather monitoring stations (WMS), and cloud-based string-level telemetry. |
| Ongoing O&M | Optional | Preventive maintenance, array thermography, module cleaning schedules, and guaranteed response times under a separate Solar O&M Agreement. |
The assessment process
We do not present speculative estimates. Every proposal rests on verified site data and stated baseline tariffs.
Step 1: Data gathering
12 months of utility bills and 15-min load profile.
Step 2: Technical assessment
Solar irradiance modeling and preliminary sizing.
Step 3: Engineering review
SLD review, structural checks, and commercial payback model.
What you provide
Your last 12 months of electricity bills, peak demand data, and available roof or land drawings.
What you receive
A modeled system layout, expected generation yield (kWh/kWp), detailed equipment schedule, and an itemized financial payback model with all assumptions disclosed.
Delivered by Zyntra, per its proposal of October 2026.
Frequently asked questions about our solar EPC services
Does Terragreen execute projects as a direct contractor or through sub-contractors?
Terragreen is the single accountable EPC contractor. Our in-house engineering team designs the plant, our project directors oversee site execution, and our safety officers manage site compliance through commissioning.
Can we add battery storage to a Terragreen solar plant later?
Yes. We document the electrical interface, space layout, and switchgear capacity during initial design so a battery energy storage system can be integrated without retrofitting major civil or busbar infrastructure.
Which equipment brands does Terragreen use?
Equipment is selected on technical and commercial merit to match project specifications. Every proposal includes an equipment schedule identifying module, inverter, and balance-of-system manufacturers. Where battery storage is specified, Zyntra storage products are evaluated alongside industry alternatives and any group relationship is disclosed.
